A labour of love for collectors, by collectors.
Antique Almanac was founded on a simple frustration: finding quality antique dealers in unfamiliar cities was harder than it should be. Google returns a jumble of results. Specialist dealers often have no web presence at all. The best shops — the ones with museum-quality stock and decades of expertise — are frequently the hardest to discover.
We set out to build the definitive global directory: rigorously curated, beautifully presented, and genuinely useful whether you are hunting for Georgian silver in Edinburgh or Meiji lacquerware in Kyoto.
"The finest antiques are found by those who know where to look. We want to make sure everyone knows where to look."
Every store in our directory is individually reviewed. We combine verified data from Google Places, dealer websites, and community submissions with our own editorial judgment. Stores are categorised by their primary specialties, assessed for quality of stock and customer experience, and ranked by real buyer reviews.
We do not accept payment for editorial rankings. Featured placements are available to dealers on Professional and Premium plans, but are clearly labelled and never affect our organic search results.
If you run an antique shop, gallery, or dealership, we would love to include you. Basic listings are free and take minutes to set up. For dealers who want greater exposure, our Professional and Premium plans offer priority placement, photo galleries, website links, and inclusion on our curated Antique Trails.
